Alexa Sheldon, a senior at Huntington Beach Edison High in California, won the girls varsity discus throw and shot put at the Trabuco Hills Invitational at Trabuco Hills High in Mission Viejo, Calif. Sheldon prevailed in the discus with a mark of 139-1 (42.39m) and triumphed in the shot put with a 42-11 (13.08m) effort.
