Issaiah McCorvey, a junior at Lancaster High in California, won the boys varsity invitational 3,200-meter race in 9:18.13 at the Trabuco Hills Invitational at Trabuco Hills High in Mission Viejo, Calif. McCorvey edged Matthew Galindo of Anaheim Savanna High and his runner-up effort of 9:18.18.
